Selected Papers

If you are developing practical solutions to problems in e-Security, cyber crime investigations and analysis; data retrieval and analysis; legal problems, issues, or innovations; or problems related to infrastructure protection; consider submitting a paper. We are looking for papers on topics under the Conference Tracks including, but not limited to the topics indicated :

Track II : DATA SECURITY

  • Banking and e-funds transfer
  • Data Protection & E-governance

Track III : COMPUTER FORENSIC

  • Detecting Cyber Crime
  • Components of Computer Forensics
  • Preserving Computer Evidence
  • Computer Forensics Practices Adopted by the Police and other Enforcement Agencies

Track IV : CYBER LAW

  • Data Protection Legislations
  • Policing the Cyberspace
  • Role of Judiciary in the Digital Age
  • Network Security and Law

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Papers should be directly relevant to one of the prescribed Conference Topics. Abstracts focused on product-specific information and/or those including strictly commercial or promotional content will not be considered
  • Name, Title, Organization, Complete Mailing Address, Phone, FAX, and E-mail of Author
  • Name, Title, Organization, Complete Mailing Address, Phone, FAX, and E-mail of Proposed Speaker or Additional Presenters (as applicable).
  • Paper Abstract: (250 words maximum)
  • Detailed Paper length : (450 lines maximum)
  • Brief resume (200 words maximum) of the author
  • Papers should be submitted in MS Word format, single spacing, Font - "Times New Roman - 12",
    Margin 1" all around only.
  • All papers should be submitted via email to esecurity-papers@mgsipap.org

SELECTION PROCESS
Detailed Paper must be received no later than January 4, 2004(extended) January 20, 2004. You will be contacted via email with information on papers selected for presentation by January 30, 2004. If your paper is not selected for presentation, it will still be included on the conference CD-ROM/Info Pack provided to attendees.

Authors of the selected papers for inclusion in the conference publication will be intimated.
